Steve Soboroff, Chief Recovery Officer for the City of Los Angeles, and Leo Marmol, Managing Partner at renowned design and architecture firm Marmol Radziner, joined the Los Angeles Business Council (LABC) and dozens of L.A. leaders on Wednesday, February 26, to discuss the next phase of fire recovery efforts. The latest installment of the LABC Economic Recovery Series spotlighted the urgent need to fast-track economic recovery for fire-affected communities and businesses, with a particular focus on the Pacific Palisades.
With more than 60 LABC members and partners in attendance, Soboroff and Marmol outlined what’s taking place at the City, County and State to streamline and ease the rebuilding process, as well as the path forward for affected residents.
Through the Economic Recovery Series, LABC leverages its expertise in intergovernmental relations, development reform, technical planning, and financial strategies to provide a roadmap for a more resilient and prosperous Los Angeles. By bringing together key stakeholders and industry leaders, this series helps shape policies that support sustainable recovery and economic growth.
